Rant: Guy at the tooling show said I should dry run my new program first
He told me to run it in the air before cutting metal, but I was in a hurry and skipped it. Crashed a $200 indexable drill into a fixture because a Z offset was wrong.

Haha yep, I've been there too! Nothing teaches you to double check your offsets like the sound of a $200 drill eating itself into a fixture.
