My property tax bill hit $4,200 this year and I'm still mad about it
That's a jump of almost $500 from last year, and the city's letter about 'improved services' feels like a joke when my street still floods every heavy rain. Anyone else in the West Park area get a nasty shock like this?

Ugh, tell me about it. I saw a news segment last week where they interviewed the city finance guy. He kept talking about "rising infrastructure costs" and "public safety budgets." Meanwhile, my neighbor called about that broken streetlight on Maple for the third time this month. It feels like we're just paying more for the same old problems.

Improved services" must be the fancy new pothole they filled in down the block. Mine went up too, it's brutal.
