My old brush head snapped off inside a flue in Madison yesterday

Had to improvise with a coat hanger and some pliers to fish it out, which took like 20 minutes. Anyone have a good brand for heavy-duty poly brushes that won't do that?

Ugh, that's the worst. Have you checked if your brush handle is metal? Plastic ones always snap.

Man, that sinking feeling when you hear that snap. Been there with a cheap plastic brush head in a tight spot, and you're just stuck staring at the hole. Fishing it out with a coat hanger is pure MacGyver stuff, but who has time for that on a job? Total momentum killer. Makes you want to just chuck the whole cheap set in the trash, right?

Disagree on the metal handle fix. The real problem is forcing a brush at a bad angle. A good tool lets you work smart, not just hard.
