Customer said my brush was caked and I didn't believe her...
She showed me a photo she took from her phone and I could see the bristles were packed with old soot. I switched to wire wheel cleaning every 5 jobs instead of every 10 and now my brushes last twice as long. Anybody else had a client call them out on something obvious?

Oh man, that reminds me of something that happened to my friend Dave who does detailing on the side. A customer sent him a photo of a corner he missed on a back seat and Dave swore up and down he got it, but when he looked closer on his own phone he saw a dried up fry wedged between the cushions. He said he felt like a total jerk and now he takes pictures of everything before he hands the keys back.

Read somewhere that some detailers even add a little video walk-around before the handoff now, just to cover themselves lol. Smart move honestly, saves a headache later.
