Hit 50,000 covers last week and barely noticed until the owner pointed it out
Our line cook kept tally marks on a corner of the walk-in door and it added up to exactly 50,000 orders since we opened two years ago. Has anyone else hit a random milestone that just kind of snuck up on you?

Flip that tally into a competition for the next milestone, like who can hit 100,000 first. Kept a running bet at my old place with a case of beer on the line, and it made every shift feel more like a game than a grind. Those small side bets tend to build more team grit than any owner pep talk ever could.
