My cat walked across the keyboard during a job interview

I was on a video call for a senior position last Tuesday. Mid-sentence my tabby Mochi jumped up and started typing gibberish into the chat. She sent a message that said "jjjjjjjjj mmkjjjjjj" before I could grab her. The interviewer laughed and said it was the best icebreaker ever. I still got the job but now I lock my door before every call.

Oh yeah, that is literally the best thing ever. My dog did something similar during a really serious client call last year. I was on mute and she just barks once at the mailman right as I unmuted to say something important. Completely threw me off but the client laughed their butt off and said it made them trust me more because I was "real" or whatever. Now I put her in the other room with a frozen Kong every time I have a call. It's kind of a win though because you get the job and a funny story out of it. I swear animals pick the worst times to be cute.
