Showerthought: I just counted all the doors I've hung in my career.

I was cleaning out my truck yesterday and found a stack of old job tickets, so I decided to add them up (you know, for fun). Turns out I've hung over 1,200 doors since I started my apprenticeship in Cincinnati. Does that number seem high to anyone else, or is this just a normal carpenter thing?

Honestly felt the same way for the longest time... seemed like overkill. But seeing how it actually works in a real place changed my whole view on it. Makes way more sense when you get why they're all there. Kind of a "you have to see it to get it" thing.
