Just realized how much faster my pocket hole joinery got after switching to a self-adjusting jig.

My Kreg jig cut my pocket hole time in half, honestly. The self-adjusting part means I'm not fiddling with the stop collar and depth settings for every different board thickness. It just locks in place. That's the part that really speeds things up.

Nah, it's not a gimmick at all. The real time save is in batch work. When you're doing a whole project, not having to reset for every single piece of scrap or different thickness is huge. It just makes the whole workflow smoother.

Ugh, still seems like a gimmick to me.
