Threw $150 at a "certified resume writer" and got back a template with my name swapped in
Paid a woman on Fiverr who claimed she specialized in my field. She took my old resume, added some buzzwords, and put it in a fancy layout that Applicant Tracking Systems apparently hate. Had to redo everything from scratch over a weekend. Has anyone else fallen for this kind of thing and found an actual helpful service instead?

Ugh, that is such a frustrating waste of time and money. Totally feel your pain on that one, it's happened to a lot of us.
