PSA: Talking to a recruiter last week made me realize I've been pricing myself wrong

She straight up told me I was leaving $15k on the table because I never ask about the full comp package, bonuses and stock included, has anyone else ever just taken the base salary and ran with it?

That stings, sorry they laughed. It's brutal out there when you realize you've been lowballing yourself for years. Good on you for finding out now instead of never.

I told my last recruiter my salary number and they literally laughed at me.
