Mock interviews felt dumb until recruiters kept saying the same thing
I blew off mock interviews for years, thought they were just for nervous college kids. Last month a friend made me do one with a hiring manager she knew, and she tore apart my filler words in 10 minutes. I had no idea I said 'um' 40 times and never actually answered the question. Paid $50 for a session last week and got a callback for a second interview this time. Has anyone else had a practice run change how they talk in real interviews?
