LinkedIn says I'm "open to work" but recruiters keep ghosting me after 2 rounds

So I updated my profile last month, added the green banner and everything, and I've had 12 recruiters reach out. Every single one scheduled a first call, then a second interview, and then radio silence. I checked my analytics and 3 of them viewed my profile multiple times during the process, no offer, no rejection email. Is this normal now or am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else had this happen with entry level tech roles in Chicago? I'm seriously considering just removing the banner and networking harder instead.

Same thing happened to me before I gave up on the banner. @gavinb97's right, skipping the middle step worked better for me too. It's like every part of the process now runs on people saying yes and then quietly moving on, same as how you can't get a straight answer from a customer service chat anymore. The whole system is built on keeping you guessing, so networking directly at least gives you a person who has to look you in the eye.

Dropping the banner and messaging team leads directly got me way more real replies than recruiter calls ever did.
