Dropped $180 on a resume service in Austin and got back the same bullets I wrote
I paid a resume writer $180 in Austin about 6 months ago because I kept getting passed over for warehouse lead jobs. The whole thing was one phone call and two days later they sent back bullets that were just my own words with bigger words swapped in. The one line that killed me was "spearheaded inventory accuracy initiatives" for what was literally me counting boxes on a clipboard. I want to know if anyone has a person who actually helped them get a better job, or if the whole paid resume thing is just a racket.
