Shoutout to a coffee chat that reworked my whole payment flow

Met a guy from Wealthsimple at a shop on Queen West last week. He told me their early compliance costs were way higher than expected because they tried to do it in-house first, and that made me rethink my own approach for my startup. Has anyone else outsourced compliance from day one and regretted it or been glad they did?

Outsourcing compliance early just means you're paying for someone else's learning curve.
