That week in March when every spread fell apart but the mess taught me more than any perfect layout
I spent 4 days in Seattle trying to track a work project plus my sister's wedding plans in one weekly spread, ended up with random notes scattered across 3 page corners, and I'm honestly wondering if anyone else has just leaned into the chaos instead of redoing the whole thing?

That's the thing about leaning into the chaos, it becomes its own kind of system. Once you stop fighting the mess and just let the corners of pages become their own little zones, you start to see patterns in where the stray notes land. The wedding stuff always ended up in the top right for me, and work stuff drifted to the bottom left, so my eye just knew where to look without me even labeling it. The real lesson is that perfect layouts are for show, but the messy ones actually hold your life because they don't make you hunt for a specific spot to write something down. And honestly, those scattered notes tell a better story of the week than any neat grid ever could, you can see exactly where your energy went. So yeah, I've stopped erasing and just started adding more arrows and circles to tie the chaos together, it becomes its own weird map.
