Pro tip: Your index is probably useless if you're not using page numbers

I flipped through a friend's journal and every index entry just said 'tracker' or 'ideas' with no page reference. They admitted they never actually go back to find anything because it's too hard to locate. How do you force yourself to actually number your pages from the start?

Ugh, I feel that. I finally just started numbering the bottom corner of each page as I go, no skipping.

Honestly my bullet journal is a total mess and I kind of like it that way. I just flip around until I spot the thing I need, it feels more organic.
