Am I the only one who thinks pre-drawn monthly spreads miss the entire point of this system?
I was at a craft store in Toledo last weekend and saw a whole endcap of planners with the calendars already printed in, little boxes and all, marked "bullet journal starter kits." Here is what bugs me. The whole reason a bullet journal works for me is that I build March's page on February 28th, so it only has the days and columns I actually need that month. When the grid comes pre-printed, you just bought a planner with dots on the paper. Does anyone here actually use those pre-made ones, or did we all start with a blank notebook for a reason?
Yep. Pre-printed is just a planner with extra steps. My March page has 3 columns for work shifts, one for bills, one for gym. Your store bought one has a mood tracker and a water log. Cool if that's your thing. But don't call it a bullet journal. Call it a planner. Blank notebook forever.
