The $15 instant pot that saved my grocery budget
I picked up a used Instant Pot at a garage sale three years ago for $15. Thought it would just be another gadget collecting dust, but it's actually paid for itself many times over. I can buy a whole chicken when it's on sale for $5, pressure cook it, and get three meals out of it plus broth. Before that I was buying pre-cooked rotisserie chickens for $8 each and only getting two meals. The beans alone saved me like $30 this month since dried beans are way cheaper than canned. Has anyone else found a single kitchen tool that changed how you spend on food?

Sure, maybe it can cook beans too, but can it do my taxes and walk my dog?

Haha well I hate to be THAT person but those instant pots ABSOLUTELY cannot walk your dog. They don't have legs for one thing. And for taxes they'd probably mess up your deductions real bad. They're great for cooking a tough roast in an hour though, I'll give them that. So maybe you just need a separate machine for dog walking and tax prep, that's all.
