Shoutout to the host at my hostel in Lisbon who called my packing system "a yard sale in a bag"
She was not wrong. I had been doing the roll everything thing for two trips and kept losing socks to the bottom of a 40L pack. She made me dump it on the bunk and sort it into three zip bags by type. One for shirts, one for socks and underwear, one for the misc junk. Took me ten minutes. Now I can find a clean shirt without unpacking the whole thing on a top bunk. What is your actual bag setup for a two week trip? I am still not sold on packing cubes.
