Shoutout to the free city bike I rode for 3 hours in Lisbon last month

The map said it was a 20 minute ride to the castle, but I got lost and ended up on a massive hill. I had to push that clunky blue bike for a mile because the 'free' part didn't cover my cardio. Anyone know a better app for those city bike systems that actually shows elevation?

Totally feel you on the "free part didn't cover my cardio". Same thing happened to me in Seattle. The app made a route look flat. It was a straight up mountain. My legs were toast. Had to walk the bike for ages. I just use Google Maps now and put it on bike view. It shows the hills a little better. Still not perfect but way better than the bike share map.

Nah, I actually stick with the bike share app. Google Maps sent me on a crazy busy road last time, no bike lane at all. The share app routes are built for safety, even if they have a hill. I'd rather sweat a bit than get hit by a car.

Ugh, my legs still hurt from trusting a "leisure route" last week. It turned a ten minute ride into a full workout. I guess I'm just doomed to get my cardio by accident.
