I just realized I've been overpaying for airport food for years

My friend pointed out that you can bring an empty water bottle through security and fill it at a fountain, saving like $5 every trip. What other obvious airport money-wasters am I missing?

Bringing snacks from home is a total game changer. I pack a granola bar or some nuts and skip the overpriced convenience stores. It seems small but the savings are real.

My buddy forgot his snacks last trip and spent like twenty bucks on two bags of chips and a soda at the terminal, it was brutal lol. He's never leaving home without a ziploc of trail mix again.

Parking is the biggest scam if you fly a lot. Those daily rates add up crazy fast. Look into off-site lots with shuttles, they're way cheaper. Even a rideshare might cost less than a week of airport parking. Always check all the options before you just drive there.
