Overcomplicating things usually ruins them, from plants to weekend plans.

Ever notice how the stuff you fuss over the most just seems to fall apart? I always figured more care was better for everything, but my houseplants proved me wrong. The ones I baby always die, but the one I forget on the shelf is huge. Maybe some projects are like that too, they just need less of us getting in the way.

Right there with you. My plant care is so over the top that I've probably killed more with kindness than neglect. I swear they wilt just from me worrying over them. Once tried to build a table and overthought it so much the legs didn't match. Now I just leave things alone and hope for the best.
