My sister asked why I still read physical books and I couldn't give her one good reason
She pointed out I spend $40 a month on paperbacks I finish in three days and donate, while her library app is free, and honestly I've been thinking about that conversation every time I walk into Barnes and Noble since.

Did you see that study about print books helping you retain information better?

Wait, has anyone actually checked if the study controlled for what people were reading? Like nobody's gonna remember a dry textbook better because it's on paper, but maybe we just pay more attention to actual fun books when they're physical copies?

Just pick up a cookbook and tell me you don't remember the recipe better from paper.
