Makes me wonder how many things we replace too soon. We get told to change our car oil every 3,000 miles or swap out running shoes every 500. Half the time the part is still perfectly fine. My dad used the same lawnmower for 25 years just by cleaning the spark plug. Planned obsolescence isn't just for electronics, it's a mindset we've all bought into.
