Just realized I was skipping the intro credits for 6 years of one show
I was watching The Expanse for the third time and finally noticed the intro actually changes details between seasons, little things like the ships and locations. All those years I thought I was saving time, turns out I was missing half the worldbuilding. Anyone else regret skipping intros on a show that rewards paying attention?

Hate to disagree, but most intros are just filler to me. I’d rather spend that time watching the actual story unfold, even if I miss a few background details.

The intro credits thing got me thinking about how I rewatched Battlestar Galactica and realized the background chatter in the fleet scenes actually foreshadows stuff. Took me three watches to catch that. But honestly, my bigger regret is skipping the cold opens on The Leftovers, those little town scenes were doing way more work than I gave them credit for. Now I just let intros play on everything and my watch time is just ruined.
