Can we talk about why everyone skips 2-season shows under 30 episodes?

I read a stat on a data site that said most people drop a series after episode 3 unless it has 4+ seasons, which honestly surprised me because some of my favorite binges were short ones like Freaks and Geeks. Anyone else think we're missing out by judging shows on length before we even press play?

Episode 3 though? That’s wild to me. I’ve had shows that didn’t click until like episode 5 or 6, and dropping a show that early means you miss stuff like when Fleabag finally gets going. Freaks and Geeks only had 18 episodes and it’s perfect, but people probably skipped it because it wasn’t a 50-episode commitment.
