A cool thing happened after I watched all of 'The Queen's Gambit' in one day
I just finished the whole show in a single sitting! It made me dig out my old chess set from the closet. I hadn't played since high school, so I was pretty rusty. The show's main character, Beth, made chess look so intense and fun. I found a free app to practice and played a few games online. Winning my first match after all these years felt amazing. It's wild how a TV show can spark a new hobby like that!
