That wednesday where I fixed 3 bent derailleur hangers in a row
Walk in at 8am. First bike has a hanger bent inward toward the wheel. Straightened it with the tool in 2 minutes. Second bike comes in at 10am. Same thing. Bent bad but still fixable. Third one rolls in at noon. Guy said he 'bumped a curb'. I fixed it but man. Three in one day. Has anyone else had a weird streak like that where every other bike has the same exact problem?

Used to think bent hangers meant bad luck, but you changed my mind.

I mean, I kinda see it the opposite way honestly. Bent hangers always felt like a sign to me that something was off or wasn't going to work out the way I planned. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather toss a bent hanger than keep it around and risk it ruining my good clothes or something.

@milacraig once told me her neighbor threw out three bent hangers in one week, bad juju for bikes apparently.
