Rent: A customer who kept altering his cut while I was working
This guy walked in and asked for a basic trim with clean sides. I got my clippers out and began, but then he stopped me to say he wanted more texture. I switched tools and started texturizing, only for him to pause again and request a sharper line. It happened four times in one session, and my next appointment was tapping his foot. I felt my patience thinning with each change. How hard is it to pick a style and stick with it? It throws off my rhythm and can lead to uneven results. I ended up running late for the rest of the day. Maybe I need to be firmer about final decisions before I start cutting.
