Noticed a big difference in my clipper fade after switching to a ceramic blade 3 months ago
I swapped out my steel blade for a ceramic one and the fade came out way smoother with less heat buildup on longer jobs. Has anyone else tried ceramic and seen a real shift in their work?

Made the switch myself about a year back. Total game changer for blending, especially when I'm doing multiple heads in a row and the blade stays cool the whole time. I did accidentally drop one on the tile floor though and it shattered like a dinner plate, so that was a fun hundred bucks down the drain. Still worth it for how clean the fade comes out though.

Hold up, did you get that ceramic blade or the titanium one? My buddy swears by the ceramic for the heat thing but he dropped his off the tailgate of his truck and it basically exploded into a thousand pieces. He was so mad he just stood there staring at the shards for like five minutes. Still bought another one the next day though, says nothing else gives him that same smooth blend on a tight fade.

Wait, do you guys use ceramic for fades mostly? I thought titanium was the go to for that, but maybe I'm wrong. @the_jessica's story about the tile floor makes me cringe though, that sounds rough.
