Watched "The Room" for the first time last weekend and now I get the hype
I used to skip bad movies on purpose, but my friend brought over a copy of this 2003 disaster and I couldn't stop laughing at the weird football scene. Has anyone else had a movie totally flip your idea of what's fun to watch?

I read a review once that called it "the Citizen Kane of bad movies" and that's actually pretty accurate. The way every character talks past each other in those long, awkward pauses is something else. My favorite part has to be the rooftop scene where the random guy just falls over with no explanation. Did you catch the weird subplot about the character getting cancer that goes absolutely nowhere?

My buddy watched it drunk and swore the falling guy was an outtake they kept in by accident.

Think @julia549 is right about the cancer subplot, but actually there's no falling guy scene in the final cut-you're mixing it up with the blooper reel.
