Spent $30 on Birdemic on Blu-ray and regretted every second of it
I grabbed a copy of Birdemic at a thrift store last weekend because everyone says it's hilarious. Watched it with three friends and we lasted maybe 30 minutes before the terrible CGI eagles killed the mood. I mean the acting is bad but the plot just drags and drags with nothing funny happening. Has anyone else bought a 'so bad it's good' movie that ended up being just boring?

Used to defend Birdemic as so bad it's good, but rewatched it last year and realized it's just boring with no payoff. When did you finally give up on it?

Used to tell people Birdemic was a must-watch for the bad movie nights. That thrift store copy made me realize it's just a long, boring slideshow with some budget sound effects. Birds aren't even funny bad, they're just confusing.

@young.kim, was it the sheer length that killed it for you, or the complete lack of any actual action? I feel like a bad movie needs at least one moment that's so cringe it's hilarious, but Birdemic never delivers. Did you make it all the way through, or did you tap out before the eagles started their weird flying squares?
