Spent $28 on a 'so bad it's good' mystery box and got a gem

I saw this online seller offering a mystery box of 'bargain bin horror' for $28 and figured why not. What showed up was a DVD of a movie called 'Blood Shark vs. Laser Eel' with a cover that looked like clip art from 2003. Popped it in last Friday and it was genuinely terrible, but the kind of terrible that had us laughing every five minutes. The acting was flat, the effects were basically a green screen and some stock footage, and the plot made no sense. But the best part? It came with a bonus mini poster that was so badly printed the title was misspelled as 'Laser Eel vs. Blood Shark' on the back. I've spent way more on rentals that bored me to sleep, so this $28 purchase actually saved my movie night. Has anyone else risked a random horror grab bag and ended up with something worth rewatching?

Honestly, that mystery box idea always seemed like a waste to me before. Figured you'd just get dusty copies of stuff nobody wanted for a reason. But hearing about that misprinted poster and the whole night of laughing at the nonsense, yeah, that kinda changes my view. There's something about a bad movie that's fun on purpose that beats a boring one every time.
