My new feeder fell apart after one rainstorm
I picked up a cheap wooden feeder from a garage sale in Springfield last Saturday and thought I got a steal for $5. The rain came Tuesday night and the whole bottom rotted out by morning, leaving my seed pile soaking wet on the ground. Has anyone found a budget feeder that actually holds up to weather?

Bought this real cute ceramic one shaped like a little house from a yard sale down on Elm Street last spring. Looked perfect on my porch but then a squirrel jumped on it and the whole thing shattered into like fifty pieces. Found out later it was just a decoration piece, not meant for actual birdseed. The plastic ones from the dollar store actually hold up better than you'd think, just gotta avoid the super flimsy green ones that crack in the sun.

The painted metal ones from yard sales last forever, just don't pay over three bucks.
