Took me 6 years to realize I was torquing lug nuts in the WRONG order

Did you ever figure out if it actually made a difference in how the wheels sat on the hubs? I mean I always wondered if the order really matters that much or if it's just one of those things people get super particular about. Maybe it's just me but I feel like as long as you get them tight and recheck after driving it's probably fine either way.

Yeah I've seen wheels warp on a loose hub from uneven torque so I always cross-pattern now just to be safe.
