Shoutout to the guy who talked me into trying that new ceramic clear coat

I was really not sure about it, honestly, because the price was almost double our normal stuff. But a supplier kept pushing it, saying it would cut our buffing time way down. We tried it on a black Honda Civic hood last month, and after it cured, it was like glass. I barely had to touch it with the polisher, maybe 15 minutes total instead of my usual 45. Has anyone else switched to a ceramic clear and had a similar experience, or did I just get lucky?

Yeah, I saw a detailer on youtube saying the same thing about it cutting time way down. I mean, if it really saves that much effort, maybe the extra cost is worth it.

Wait, a whole HALF HOUR? That's insane. My last buffing job took me like 45 minutes total on just the hood. Are you using some kind of magic compound or a new orbital? My arms would fall off if I tried to go that fast and still get a good finish.
