Had a customer bring in a '69 Camaro with a weird paint reaction nobody could figure out
This old-timer at the parts counter saw me scratching my head and just said, 'Kid, did you check if the primer was epoxy or urethane?' It was in a shop in Tacoma. How often do you guys run into compatibility issues with older paint jobs?

Remember when my old car's alternator died on a road trip. My grandpa told me to whack it with a tire iron, just once, to get the brushes unstuck. I felt like an idiot standing on the highway doing it, but it actually got the car started long enough to reach the next town. Sometimes the weird, simple fix from someone who's been there is the only thing that works.

Watched a guy fix a misfire on a '78 Ford by just swapping the plug wires around. Those old tricks are pure gold.
