Question about the move towards digital menus in restaurants
I've noticed that many restaurants in my town are switching to QR code menus you scan with your phone. Some folks say it's cleaner and faster, but others miss physical menus and worry about privacy. In my experience, it can be tricky for older customers. Your mileage may vary, but I'm curious where you stand on this.

Yeah, the part about older customers struggling is too real. I'm only in my 40s but I always feel like a dinosaur when I can't get the QR code to work. Maybe it's just me but I miss when menus didn't need batteries.

Actually, turning up my phone's brightness all the way helps those codes scan faster. Had the same issue last week at a diner and that finally did the trick. Felt like a small victory over the tech.

Honestly that whole qr code menu thing is the worst. Tbh it's not even about age, it's just a bad system that relies on everyone having a good phone and service. Fumbling with your brightness while you're just trying to order a burger feels backwards. Ngl a simple paper menu was just a better experience for everyone.
