Knocked over a display of 2000 year old pottery in Crete last summer

I was in the Heraklion Archaeological Museum and bumped into a plexiglass case holding Minoan pots from 1500 BC. The whole case wobbled but nothing broke, just scared me half to death. Security came over and just asked if I was okay, didn't even yell. Has anyone else had a close call like that at a museum?

Oh come on, you're lucky you didn't get banned for life. I mean maybe it's just me but museum security is way too soft these days, they should have at least made you feel bad about it.

pat_fisher24 is right that security could be tougher, but honestly just playing dumb and apologizing a lot always works in these situations. Keep your head down and they usually let you off with a warning.
