Finally stopped hating my $150 pole pruner, here's why
I bought a telescoping pole pruner last spring for utility line clearing and hated it for months, the head kept binding on live oak limbs. After watching a guy at a demo in Portland file the blade at a steeper angle and grease the pivot, I tried it on a 40 foot hackberry and it sliced through like butter. Anyone else ever fix an expensive tool with a simple tune up instead of trashing it?
