My friend told me my anime tier list looked like a toddler sorted it by color

I posted my top 50 anime rankings on a forum, grouping shows by genre. Someone replied, 'Bro, you put 'Akira' next to 'K-On!' because they both have a lot of red in the poster, didn't you?' They were right. I spent a whole day redoing the list based on actual themes and my real feelings. Now I'm scared to even look at my old posts. Has anyone else had their whole system called out like that?

Man, that hits close to home. I once organized my bookshelf purely by how tall the books were and a friend just stared at it for a full minute. Sorting by color is a legit vibe though, even if it makes for weird neighbors. The important thing is you went back and made a list that actually means something to you now.

My cousin once organized his entire DVD collection by the lead actor's first name. It was a total mess where "Die Hard" sat next to "Dumb and Dumber" just because of Bruce and Jim. Took him twenty minutes to find anything. He finally switched to alphabetical by title after he missed the start of a movie night.

Oh man, the "took him twenty minutes to find anything" part is too real. My buddy tried to sort his games by console, but then by how much he liked them within that. So his favorite PS4 game was first, then his least favorite, and it was a total guessing game. He gave up after a week.
