I finally tried stand developing a roll of HP5 for 1 hour and the grain came out like sandpaper
I shot a roll around my neighborhood in Boise last month and let it sit in Rodinal 1:100 for a full hour with just two inversions at the start. The shadows held way more detail than my usual 8 minute routine, but the grain got so big it looks like I shot it on 400 speed paper instead of film. Anyone else had luck pulling back the time or diluting more to tame that mess?
