Hot take: My shaky hands turned calligraphy into modern art

I picked up a calligraphy pen to try something new off-screen. Now my fancy letters look like squiggly worms having a party. Any simple tricks to stop the wobbles, or is this just how it goes?

Yeah, I know what you mean... my friend Jen picked up calligraphy to help with her nerves. Her early work looked like she was drawing on a bumpy road... she found that using a cheaper, thicker pen at first made a big difference. She also practiced basic lines over and over before trying fancy letters. After a while, her hands settled down and she actually got pretty good at it.

Oh man, my shaky hands would turn calligraphy into a horror movie script. I tried it once and my lines looked like a seismograph reading an earthquake. Guess I never made it out of the bumpy road phase, even with those cheap pens.

Cheap pens actually helped? That's wild, I always thought you needed fancy ones for that stuff.
