Hit 100 installs this week and the 100th one was the weirdest yet

Was the 100th user a bot with a smiley face as a profile picture? Those are always fun to get. I swear there's something about hitting those round numbers that attracts the oddballs. Like the universe has a secret queue of weird users just waiting for download 50 or 100 to pop in. Hopefully they at least opened the app and clicked around a bit before vanishing into the void. But hey, a download is a download, right? Even the strange ones count the same in the store stats.

Yeah that bot stuff is annoying but honestly I've learned to just check the activity logs for any new users around those milestones. If they didn't do anything like sign up or open a page I just count it as a fake and move on. You might want to set up a simple filter to flag accounts that don't have real user activity after download.

You better believe it. I had a user hit download 75 on one of my tools, profile picture was just a solid gray square, never even opened the app. Just sat there in the logs doing nothing like a little ghost in the machine. It's funny how they always show up at those numbers though, like clockwork.
