Thought the new composite patch kit for the Cessna 182 was just marketing fluff.
Had a repair on a wing rib last Tuesday that called for it. The prep time was half what the old method needed and the bond cured solid in under 4 hours. Anyone else tried this stuff on a similar job?

Honestly, why does it feel like every new product is just hype until you actually need it to work? Tbh I see this same thing with tools and even phone chargers now.

We had to fix a cracked stringer on a 172 last month with that same kit. The old epoxy and cloth mess would have taken me all day just to set up. This stuff was mixed and applied in maybe 20 minutes, and it was rock hard by the time I came back from lunch. I was pretty skeptical too, but it saved a ton of time.

Used it on a cracked spar cap last week and was blown away. The two-part mix was stupid easy, no messing with separate resin and hardener. Had the part back in service the same afternoon.
