Tried brussel sprouts in the air fryer after hating them my whole life

My gf kept bugging me to try them her way after I said I hated brussel sprouts since I was a kid. She tossed them in a little oil and salt then did 375 for like 12 minutes shaking halfway. I swear they came out crispy on the outside and soft inside with zero of that bitter taste I remember. I ate like 15 of them in one sitting. Anyone else find a vegetable they thought they hated actually works great in the air fryer?

That crispy edge thing is exactly why I started doing cauliflower the same way. Now my whole kitchen smells like garlic for three days but at least I'm eating vegetables.

Air fryer totally changed the game for me with broccoli. I used to hate that steamed mushy mess my mom made. Tossed it in some olive oil, salt, and garlic powder then did 400 for like 8 minutes. Came out with crispy edges and still firm. Now I crave it as a snack honestly. You gotta mess around with temps and times cause you can turn almost any veg into something good that way.
