Shoutout to my old oven for making me appreciate my air fryer
Honestly, I was so against getting an air fryer for the longest time. I thought it was just a fad. But last winter, my oven in my apartment in Boise started acting up and the repair guy said it would be a $300 fix. I got a basic air fryer for $60 instead. The difference in how I cook is crazy. I used to wait 45 minutes for frozen fries to get crispy in the oven, and they'd still be soggy. Now, I toss them in the basket, set it for 15 minutes at 400, and they come out perfect every single time. It completely changed my weeknight dinners because I'm not waiting around forever. I even started making salmon and chicken thighs in it. Has anyone else switched from relying on their oven for most things to using the air fryer almost daily?

Oh man, same here! I held out forever thinking it was just a tiny oven... but mine cooks chicken so much faster and crispier. I barely turn my big oven on anymore.

Right? I feel so silly for waiting so long to get one. My big oven is basically a fancy bread box now, I only use it for holidays. I mean, I used to think it was just for frozen snacks, but it's a total game changer for weeknight dinners. Maybe it's just me but I'm still a little shocked at how much I use the thing.

Totally get that! I went from using mine for pizza rolls to cooking whole meals in it. It just makes everything so much easier.
