PSA: Parchment paper almost ruined my air fryer chicken
I was cooking some gorgeous chicken thighs in my air fryer last Tuesday and put a piece of parchment paper under them to keep it clean. Well the paper flew up into the heating element and started smoking like crazy in like 2 minutes flat. Had to pull the basket out and toss the whole batch, lost $8 worth of chicken and nearly set off the smoke detector in my apartment in Cleveland. Has anyone else had paper fly around on them in a high fan air fryer?
