Just realized you can make a single, perfect soft-boiled egg in the air fryer by cooking it at 250 degrees for 16 minutes straight from the fridge.
I mean, I was just messing around because I didn't want to boil a pot of water for one egg, and now I do it every morning, but has anyone else tried this weird timing for other things?

That's a great trick for eggs. Might have to try that timing for small potatoes or even a single piece of fish. The air fryer is full of weird little hacks like that.

Actually fish cooks way faster than potatoes so that timing would burn it. You need like 8-10 minutes for a piece of fish, not the 15-20 for small potatoes. The air fryer is great but the cook times are totally different for each thing. Learned that the hard way with some dry salmon.

My air fryer chicken came out like jerky last week, same lesson.
