Just realized my old PC took 6 hours to upscale one photo, the new AI tools do it in about 40 seconds
Back in 2019 I tried to fix a blurry photo of my grandparents using some software from a forum, and it ran overnight on my old laptop. Now I open a browser tool and it's done before I finish my coffee. Anyone else remember waiting that long for stuff we now do by accident?

In 2011 I sat in a cold dorm room watching my cheap Dell churn through a 20 second video clip for two days straight. The fan sounded like a hair dryer and the screen froze so often I started timing the freezes with a kitchen timer. Now my phone edits the same clip while I'm still picking a filter.
